I don't know very much about them, there are many reproductions and fantasy pieces and I just don't feel qualified to help people in this area. APOTHECARY JARS: (From 1981, celebrates the 75th anniversay of Planters Peanuts.):
- P01 - ($10) Clear glass, with raised glass Mr. Peanut in sides and lid. Round. 8 inches tall, 4 inches wide.
- P02 - ($10) Clear glass with diamond-cut "pressed glass" design. Mr. Peanut raised in glass bottom. Round. 8 inches tall, 4 inches wide.
OTHER::
- P04 - ($35) BEANIE - Cool, long tall Mr. Peanut all in golden velour with black hat, arms, legs,and cane. Has hat band that says Mr. Peanut. Mint with tags.
- P03 - ($10) TIN - Cool round canister tin with gray background and vintage designs of Mr. Peanut in a chorus line? "The Nickel Lunch" slogan abounds. Lid has standing Mr. Peanut with the Planters banner. 1989 - 24 ounce contents at the time. Ate the nuts. EC, no dings.
- P06 - ($10) TIN - 1997 Tin #1 - Cool round canister tin with scene of Mr. Peanut sitting by the hearth while a little girl reads. Very detailed scene of the entire living room wraps around the tin. EC.
