MEG TOYS - HOW TO PAY AND BUY FROM US:


We're private collectors, so buying from us is pretty easy. But, here are answers to some commonly asked questions. Sorry this is so long, but, as you know, you can never say too much in this day and age.
So, here goes:
HOW TO BUY:
- Just e-mail us what items you'd like and where you are located (i.e. City & Zip Code in U.S. or Country if not in the U.S.) and we can determine the shipping charges and write you back with payment info!!
- We do ship internationally, we enjoy it! (Please write for shipping costs as they differ by country. Also, free shipping offers on the website do not apply to foreign orders.)

(We are private sellers, not a company, so we can't directly accept credit cards.)

(We have been cheated in the past using COD and can't afford to lose the shipping. Sorry.)

METHODS OF SHIPPING:
- U.P.S. Insured & Trackable
- U.S.P.S. Priority or First Class Mail (Insured)
- Other methods available upon request such as overnight delivery, etc.
- Insurance is included in the shipping cost we quote, you do not need to add extra or request it. All packages are insured.
TERMS OF SALE:
- To order, send us a note of what you'd like and we'll send payment info.
- To have items held for you, please reply to that note so we know to hold them and not sell them to others.
- Items are held for a reasonable time awaiting payment. If unable to pay right away, let us know and we'll continue to hold items for additional time if you like. Any unpaid items are returned for general sale to others unless arrangements are made. Typically, we'll send a reminder note before re-offering an item to the next in line. But, please don't be too shy to answer that note, even if just to cancel. We hate to sell things to someone else just because we get no answer from you. However, we'd like to not disappoint others by turning them away as well in cases where you no longer want the item.
- All prices are in US$.
- All sales are final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges. All merchandise is sold "as is". Ask any and all questions in advance. We're glad to answer them. We can provide references and feedback. We're sure you'll be happy and will help with your purchase decision as best we can.
- All items are sold first come, first serve. We can notify you if item becomes re-available.
- Prices subject to change without notice. Current web page is price in effect unless an item is being held for you at a previous price. That price would remain in effect as long as the item is held for you awaiting payment. If you change your mind, cancel, and come back, current web page price is price in effect.
- Seller reserves the right to remove items to return to personal collection.
- Seller reserves the right to auction items from time to time to get more exposure. Typically we don't prefer that format. We hate auctions. We'd rather sell to you than make you fight for it.
- Being on the web page does not guarantee availability. Webbear (i.e. the Paw) & I try to update as soon as possible, but, can sometimes get behind. We only have one of most items. Extra quantity is noted if we had more than one for some reason. All items subject to prior sale.
- If an item MUST arrive on a certain date (e.g. a gift), we HAVE to know that in advance of your sending payment so we can let you know if that date is possible. We will try our best and want to help your gift to get there, BUT, we are not responsible for mail delays in receiving payment, mail delays in delivering item, or that our work schedules may prohibit going to the post office the same/next day after money arrives. Gift shipments are helped by sending money orders, Western Union, or making other arrangements. Also, we do no allow returns if a gift does not arrive on time.
- Also, if we don't have something, we can try to find it for you. "We take requests!" All our friends collect too. They probably have it!! We do need to know the price you are willing to pay. We can not purchase something for you with out a commited agreement to purchase.
- When an item is Mint in Box (MIB) and can be removed, it was removed and inspected for damage at the time of purchase (ex. cookie jars, figurines, Hallmark ornaments, etc.). However, items that are Mint on Card (MOC), Mint in Bag (MIB), Still Sealed (SS), Never Removed From Box (NRFB), Shrink-Wrapped, etc. have NOT been opened and inspected since opening decreases value to some collectors and I displayed those items sealed. So, I can NOT guarantee they are free from manufacturer defect. I can only say, there was no visual/apparent breakage or missing parts IF the item is visible in the container. Seller is not responsible for manufactuer defects on still-sealed items sold in good faith. In non-legaleeze, don't eat the 5 year old PEZ. But, if you do, hey, tell me are they still good?
But, specifically, we are not responsible for missing pieces of a factory sealed game or puzzle, non-working toys on card, or dolls if their arm comes of as you take them from the box or similar problems once it is opened. No refunds are given in these cases. Reminder, postal damage is a separate issue, and insured items are filed with the shipper. To be honest, I've never had to do it and don't know the procedure, but, we'll figure it out should that happen.
- If we have a photo of an item, you can click on the photo logo
to see a picture. Photos of most hard to imagine, vintage, or high end items are available such as jewelry or antiques & rarities. Please don't ask for pictures of Happy Meal Toys or $1 Christmas ornaments, etc. There are plenty of books that show collectibles that are mass produced like Happy Meal Toys, beanies, etc. We like the net for entertainment too, but it is too expensive and time consuming to photo every item just for entertainment. Serious requests only.
- Item names are just underlined for emphasis to stand out. They are not links to photos. You can click on the photo logo
to see a picture if we have one.
- We do not print and mail catalogs. We are not an actual store, though we look and feel like it at times, so we don't have and can't afford to print catalogs or mail lists, etc. via non-e-mail methods. We're just collectors.
- We do not do free appraisals. Prices on items vary heavily based on the item's condition, the area you'd live and sell it in, the hotness of the item this week, etc. It's impossible for us to accurately give a price with so many unknowns, nor could we know if your item is vintage or a reproduction, etc. It's too unfair to ask us to commit to any price/value guarantee without seeing & touching the item and in many cases having such little info in the e-mail that we can not for sure say what toy you even have. Futhermore, we can't keep every price and history book here, they are too expensive. We're sorry, we tried to help in the beginning, now we get 100 such notes a DAY. This truly should be done by a qualified licensed appraiser in your area. We are collectors and not such experts. We will continue to help you find items and will discuss any items we have that you are interested in, but, we just are not qualified to appraise things nor do we have the time to answer all these requests.
- Please do NOT send file attachments without asking first. If you want to show us the item you are looking for, write me first. Don't just send the huge photo.
