All are very old. They are indoor figurine type planters. Most are same maker, same time period. All are unlicensed Bambi planters. Bambi looks gorgeous on each. They were clearly made to market off of him. They are also "unlicensed" so they were defintely meant to be Bambi but were not made in conjunction with Walt Disney to my knowledge. Many items were made this way a long time ago before all the laws got ironed out. So, it could basically look just like a character and get away with it. All are in excellent condition with no damage other than time and that is truly minor, their finishes are all as shiny as new. As a matter of fact, new stuff doesn't look this good or is rarely of this quality. :-) Each has a pot-shaped section and a Bambi deer near it. Here's what they look like :
- D113 - ($ 80) BAMBI - Green grass base. Very substantial piece. Pot shape has jagged edging (^^^^^) to simulate brush and dark and light green streaked glazing. Pot is 7 inches long and 3 inches wide and 3 inches deep and runs along the entire piece. Bambi stands in front and center. Bambi is about 6 inches high on this one. Has porcelain ridges on bottom instead of feet. This is an old American piece. Made by American Bisque. Fabulous condition.

- D114 - ($ 75) BAMBI - Bambi looks the same as all the others in color, painting, etc. This one one looks (bear with me) like a bricked wishing well with no top. The planter shape is green with brick like grooves. Kinda like a fat moon shape that curves around Bambi who stands on the left. 6 inches wide total. Bambi is 5 1/2 high. Planter is 3 inches high. Has porcelain ridges on bottom instead of feet. No damage. However, the inside lip has a hair-line expansion groove from manufacture. This is inside the planter edge and does nothing to the appearance or strength of the planter. This is from firing the piece and is not considered damage of any kind. Indented USA on grooved in back. Made by American Bisque too.

- D115 - ($ 80) BAMBI - Mother deer and standing young Bambi nuzzling her nose. Bambi standing in green grass with pink blossom at his feet. Young Bambi is separate porcelain on grassy base adhereed next to mother. Made in same fashion/materials as others as above. Same maker, but, no ridged feet on base like others. Mother deer is the planter!!! Mother is 6 inches long, 5 high. Bambi is 4 1/2 inches high. Excellent condition. MY FAVE ALONG WITH #1!

- D116 - ($ 75) BAMBI - Older JAPANESE Bambi planter. Bambi is darker brown. Wearing porcelain flower necklace (lei) of white pink & blue flowers. Has small anter nubs and actual porcelain eyelashes. This is traditional of the older Japanese style where details were 3-D porcelain as opposed to painted on. Bambi is 5 inches tall. Planter is 4 inches wide and 4 high. Design of planter looks like individual leaves. Bambi is directly in front of planter and is taller than planter which only serves as backdrop. This is VERY COOL and hard to find as well. #'ed (S943). One tiny tip of flower petal is chipped. Not noticeable as it turns away from front. Remarkable condition as this is an older planter than the others to my knowledge.

- D117 - ($125) BAMBI - Really neat old JAPANESE Bambi planter. Planter is a dark pine green tree trunk that widens into green leafy branches at the top with Bambi standing in front at the base (pink flowers at his feet) and Flower the skunk sitting on a branch. EC. Really wonderful older piece. EC, near mint, just aged. Foil tag on bottom reads, "Handpainted, Royal Japan". 5 inches tall.

- D118 - ($ 60) THUMPER - Neat yellow bunny, often referred to as Thumper style in Japanese ceramics. Bunny stands on a green grass base with a pretty pink tulip-shaped vase. VERY PRETTY. EC, looks super. 4 inches tall, 5 inches long. Bottom says "K201."
