- SSC01 - ($80 EACH) DISNEY: MICKEY MOUSE - I would like to sell my sterling silver Disney coins. They are part of a 7 coin set commemorating Mickey Mouse's 60th anniversary.
- Each is a 1 troy ounce commemorative Proof and about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Each is sealed in a round, clear, acrylic coin case. That case is inserted into a blue suede "book". The cover is embossed with the Mickey 60th logo in gold, and the center page holds the coin so it can be viewed from both sides. The inside cover holds a booklet about each coin. They are airtight & unhandled this way. The packaging is very nice. The book then comes in a matching logo gift box.
- All are MIMB with all boxes, booklets, cases, etc. and I even have the sales receipts. :-)
- I have 4 of the coins. Each depicts a different famous Mickey "character" on one side and the Mickey 60th anniv. logo on the reverse.
- They cost me $44 each 10 years ago. Receipts can be provided if needed by the collector.
- 1928 - Mickey & Walt - Shows "Steamboat Willie" standing on Walt's shoulder.
- 1935 - The Band Leader - Shows Mickey at the poduim conducting.
- 1940 - The Socerer's Apprentice - Need I say more? :-)
- 1955 - The Mickey Mouse Club - Shows Mickey marching & banging the big drum.
- SSC02 - ($500 SET) E.T. - Gorgeous set of four sterling silver coins commemorating the E.T. movie. They are beautiful shiny coins with frosted pictures of E.T on them in slight relief. They are 1/2 troy ounce commemorative proofs and are about 1 1/4 inches in diameter (30 mm, slightly larger than a quarter). Each is sealed in a round, clear, acrylic coin case. They are airtight & unhandled this way. That case is inserted into a blue suede "book". The cover is embossed with the E.T. fingers touching movie logo in silver, and the center page holds the 4 coins so it can be turned and viewed from both sides to see coin fronts and backs. The inside cover also holds a booklet about the coins with specifications and edition info. The book then comes in a matching logo gift box. The packaging is very nice. This is a limited edition set from 1988 by Rarities. Quite expensive at the time. Mine are MIMB with all box, booklet, cases, etc. Set #1769.
- COIN BACK (SAME FOR ALL) - E.T. fingers touching logo.
- COIN FRONT #1 - E.T. standing and waving.
- COIN FRONT #2 - E.T. peeking out of that closet slatted door.
- COIN FRONT #3 - Gerdy kissing E.T. as she hands him the potted plant and says good-bye.
- COIN FRONT #4 - Elliot riding E.T. in his bike basket. E.T. is wrapped in a sheet.
- SSC03 - ($125) PEANUTS: SNOOPY - Sterling Silver EnvirOmint coin from 1998. Made for Valentine's Day, it is 1 troy ounce of .999 sterling silver. The front depicts Snoopy seated hugging Woody and the other side has Snoopy kissing Lucy on the nose and it says, Smack. It was a limited edition in acrylic case and was a limited edition of 1998 coins. This is number 825 of 1998. Comes in black velveteen display box. Mint, never removed from protective case. 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
